COMMERCIAL DRYER VENT CLEANING
The Dryer Duct Cleaning Process
dryer vent service
To begin, assess the functionality of the dryer by toggling it on and off to ensure the issue doesn’t originate from the appliance itself. Employ an anemometer to gauge the airflow in the dryer vent, with the standard clean airflow ranging from 1200 to 1500 ft/min. If the airflow measures below 1200 ft/min, it indicates the need for cleaning.
Subsequently, run the dryer for 20 to 30 minutes. Insert the dryer vent cleaning brushes or the compressed air tools into the vent and proceed to navigate within the vent gradually. The incoming airflow will simultaneously push lint outward as you advance the brush, ensuring no lint remains inside. Repeat this back-and-forth motion until all lint is expelled, reaching either the dryer hose or the edge of the dryer vent, discernible through the brush contact.
